Geography Teacher

Located within the LEA of Solihull, this school is a successful secondary school and is easily accessible through good public transport links and for drivers excellent road and motorway links from Birmingham and Warwickshire.

The school has developed outstanding ties with the local community which enables a larger scope for resources and activities. The most recent Ofsted inspection awarded the school a 'Good' grade which has sparked a real determination to achieve 'Outstanding' next time.

In this exciting Geography Teacher role you will be joining the school as part of the very well structured Humanities faculty and you will be teaching as part of a holistic department.

You will have the responsibility of complementing your teaching with access to the department's excellent resources, including interactive whiteboards. The Humanities Department is overseen by a dynamic Senior Management Team who make sure that every teacher and support staff member is happy and working to an Action Plan.

The ideal candidate for this position would be an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who has 2 years' teaching experience and an infectious teaching style. However the school have also advised that they will consider applications from newly qualified teachers.

You should have the capability to create an interactive learning environment where new ideas are encouraged and positive learning leads to tangible, academic success. You will be a dependable individual who can demonstrate a desire to become the best teacher that you can possibly be.
